Gordon B. Hinckley

President Gordon B. Hinckley, our beloved Prophet, passed away yesterday. He was a marvelous man, and did so much for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He will be greatly missed but we all know he is with his sweetheart and all those who have gone before him. When I was 13 years old he was called to be the Prophet, and I have looked forward to hearing him and seeing him at every conference. He was a big part of my life, and I know that he loved this church and he loved everyone in it. He was a great leader and I loved him very much. Thank you President Hinckley for all you've done.

Great Grammy

Eden has all 4 of her Great Grandmother's living! Isn't that amazing? So I"m trying to do some pages for her when she's older with them. This one I think turned out great! This is her Great Grammy Hansen which is Christian's mom's, mom. This picture was taken when Eden was just a little over a week old! Isn't she tiny? Well I think this will be a nice thing for her to have when she's older! I'm going to give one to Grammy too!

Old photos

So I started scrapbooking in july of '07 and so when I started, I did all of Eden's brand new baby pictures! Well my style has changed a TON and I feel like I've gotten way better than when I first started, so I really wanted to do a couple special pages from the day Eden was born. Isn't she precious?

Team Blog

So I did the entry for the Team Blog today for Scrapmatters, which you should all check out
http://scrapmatters.com/wordpress/
But it's all about using song lyrics in you LO's. I did a page using one of the FREEBIE'S you get just for going there! Brittish Designs made some REALLY cute word art with song lyrics so you should totally go visit and check it out!

Family!

So this is my family! Minus my brother and his wife. We took these pictures in Texas during Christmas. Can you believe how nice it is! Well I did this first page for a fun challenge at scrapmatters.com. It's a scrap by numbers challenge. We had to do a page according to the date, so the date chosen was 1/22/08 so we could only use 1 photo, 2 alphas or more, 2 words in the title, 0 ribbons or wraps and 8 or more flowers! It was really fun. I liked doing it!

This next page I did to go on my wall. I really love it!!

Once there was a snowman!

So last night and today we had a TON of snow in Provo! We couldn't go anywhere so Eden and I decided to go out and build a snowman...well Eden just sat there while mommy made a snowman! It was so fun to see Eden in the snow. She was so confused but she liked it. It was still snowing when we went out so she was watching it and she got some in her mouth and did not know what to think! It was so cute!

Digi-Journal for the second try!

So last year my sis Brittney and I made a resolution that we were going to write in our journals once a week. Well for me, it did not go over well! She did great and finished the whole year! Congrats Britt! But me, not so much. I started digital scrapbooking in June, and so I tried going back to do all my entries in a journal page, and it just got too overwhelming, that I couldn't keep up with it! So this year I made the same resolution and I have to say, I'm 3 for 3! Yay me! So I thought I'd put them on here just to show off that I'm actually doing my new years resolution!!!

This is not quite finished! I still have some pictures to add from new year's eve but I'm waiting on them from my brother in law!

Isn't that picture of Eden gazing out the window of Finding Nemo the cutest thing Ever??? Look for a page of that really soon!

I love this page! I feel like it turned out great!

So I really hope I can keep up with this goal. I'm so jealous that Brittney's getting hers ready to print up as we speak! It may even be printed...It's such a treasure that will be so special to her kids one day! I'm gonna do it!
