Eden is 1!!!

So while I was looking through pictures to put on here I started to tear up a bit remembering how excited I was to get this little girl into my arms! Her birth was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Eden has been such a blessing to us! She is the happiest, funnest, cutest, smartest little girl I've ever known! I love her so much and I am so lucky to have such an amazing daughter in my life! She had her first birthday yesterday! This was her invite that I put together!

I just love her so much! She had so much fun at her party! There were so many people there! When we gave her her own little cake to just go nuts with, she did not like it one bit! She didn't know what to do! SHe was looking at her messy hands like, 'Mom, why are you letting me do this now?' She did not like it!! But that's ok, it just means my little girl doesn't like to be messy! Which is totally fine with me!!! Anyways we are so thankful to everyone that loves her and are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives. Eden, we love you so much and couldn't ask for a better daughter! You are the light of my life and I love you so much!!

Long Overdue!

So this post is so overdue! I did this page last week and just have not found time to post it!! Isn't my little girl getting so big? She's in a big girl car seat!! I can't believe it! Well my sister-in-law Brittney, put out this REALLY cute kit, Her Royal Highness. It is so girly and so princess!! I love it! You should go check out scrapmatters and you'll find it!!!

Scooting Eden

Ok I've been trying for an hour to get a video loaded on here, but it is NOT working and I'm getting frustrated! So I'm just gonna put the link to my videos on facebook so you guys can see how funny it is when Eden scoots! I'm sorry!!!

So I don't know if any of you out there have had this, I wouldn't really call it a problem, just a situation! Eden has always hated being on her tummy! We tried to give her lots of tummy time when she was little but she just never enjoyed it. So we got her a bumbo chair, which I LOVE, and she started sitting up at just over 4 months old! Really early huh? SO I think since she had been sitting up for so long, she was just used to that and so when it was time for her to start getting around, she figured out how to do that her own way! We have tried and tried to get her to crawl but she refuses to do it so this is how she gets around! And don't let it fool you, she is quick! It's so funny though to watch her do it! We love our little scooter!!!

So this really great photographer here in Utah, Melissa Davis, she's not only extremely talented as a photographer, but she's also really fun! She's having this contest on her blog, it's a comment contest! How fun is that? So you just comment on her blog and the first 5 people to 25 comments, get a free photo session with her! Eden won a session with her back in September and I cannot tell you how happy we were with the pictures! The pictures above are just 2 of the amazing shots she got! These might not be the best quality so sorry about that, but you get the idea! She's amazing! So this last comment challenge was to post about her blog and her photography website and I was HAPPY to do it! I would LOVE to have another session with her! Christian and I had the hardest time choosing which pictures we wanted because we loved all of them! For those of you that have been to our house, all the pictures we have up in the living room, the big one of the family, and the big one of Eden, those were all taken by her! I love them! So we went and got pictures taken at JC Penny for Easter! We were SO happy how they turned out! Aren't they sweet?? She was so cute when we were taking them!
