I'm an Auntie!!!!

My brother and his wife had a beautiful baby girl early this morning at 1:56 am. She was very tiny, 6 pounds 2 ounces. She has a ton of black hair and really dark slanty eyes like my brother! He said she looks so much like him, with her mom's cute dimple chin! I am just so excited to be an aunt! It's a little bitter sweet though because I don't get to meet her until this summer...sad! No name yet for the little one and this picture is from my brothers phone so he said he's gonna send me some better ones soon! I'm just so excited! I love her already!

Finally a new LO!!

At Sweet Shoppe, they're doing this awesome series of challenges where you get to scrap your very own life story! What a wonderful gift to have! So I was really excited to do it! The first challenge was to tell the story of your birth. I got to talk to my mom about things I didn't really know and she even gave me an entry from her journal from that day to add. Isn't that so special! I love how it turned out and I can't wait to do that rest of them! THis is such a great idea!!

Another monthly page done! I love how this one turned out. You know when you have a vision of how you want something to turn out like, well this one turned out exactly as I wanted it!! I scrap lifted Megan Mullens Tiny Dancer for a sweetshoppe challenge. I was looking through her gallery and this one totally just popped out at me. So cute! These pictures were taken of Eden for this contest that her Aunt Brittney entered her in. She WON! This great photographer, Melissa Davis does amazing photos! It was so fun! (the link to her website is on my blog) And Eden had just learned how to sit up a few days before so we were glad for that!

Look at this sweet little princess! There is nothing cuter than seeing her face when she sees mickey mouse at Disneyland! She loves him so much! We watch him together every morning on Disney channel and every morning she gets the biggest girn on her face when he comes on! She totally knows who he is!

My Little Helper

So my cute little Eden was such a big 'helper' the other day! I had ton a ton of laundry and folded it all. I put Eden's clothes in her laundry basket and then went to so the dishes. Well Eden was playing and decided that it would be fun to get in to all the laundry! I went to check on her and she had the laundry all over her! It was so cute!!

My favorite movies!

So I was reading the blog at Sweetshoppe and thinking about my favorite movie...I am a HUGE 'chick flick' girl. I seriously could watch any romantic, cheesy, immature chick flick and LOVE it! I narrowed it down to a few of my faves...

50 First Dates


This movie will forever be my all time favorite movie. I could watch it over and over and never get tired of it. Back in the summer of 2005 I was working in the office for my husband and I was VERY bored. We only had a tv/dvd player but no cable so I had to watch movies, and I watched 50 first dates EVERYDAY that summer. Seriously, EVERYDAY! Can you believe that? Ya it's a little silly! But I love it. I love Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore together! They are so cute and I think Drew is so beautiful in this movie...i love it! And that song, 'Forgettful Lucy' oh I love it! I love that soundtrack!


10 things I hate about you

I'll miss you Heath! This was such a great great movie. Another one my sister and I could watch over and over. Great cast, great soundtrack!

Blue Crush

I love this movie...I love that it's in Hawaii and that it's about girl surfers and I love the love story! I think because secretly I wish I was Kate Bosworth in this movie...living in Hawaii, surfing everyday and then you fall in love with an NFL football player!! Wow!

Can you tell I love Drew Barrymore...I didn't realize until know how much I love her. Ok all I have to say about this one is Hugh Grant in tight pants singing 80's songs...does it get better than that? I don't think so!


Fever Pitch

Another Drew Barrymore...wow. Well if you haven't seen this movie, you HAVE to! It's so so cute. And one of the reason's I love this one is because It's one that my husband loves too. It's funny and it's got sports in it. SO he'll sit down and watch it with me. I love that!
Ok...I could probably go on and on. Wedding Singer, Orange County...so many great movies out there!

Here's another LO for Sweetshoppedesigns challenge! It was a really fun challenge...we had to scrap a game that we play as a family. So I decided to scrap these fun pictures that we took when we celebrated christmas with the Rodee's. They got Rock Band for christmas so we got it out and played and it was SO fun!!! We took turns singing, playing the guitar and the drums...it was awesome!

Well can you tell Christian's out of town again!! It seems like every time he goes out of town I get so many pages done!! Well he's in Portland this weekend training and recruiting with a couple of the managers under him. He's been SO busy this year I can't even believe it. His region has tripled this year and so therefore...way more work! I'm so thankful for his job though. Even if he has to be gone so much, it really has given us so many blessings!
Well anyways, so Eden was at her Pops and Gramsy's for Valentine's Day and they got this so cute picture of Eden with her Blanky and I had to scrap it. She seriously LOVES this blanky. She cannot sleep without it, sometimes she can't drink her bottle without it, and she just always has to have it right by her! It's so cute! I hope she loves it for a long time. I just love her!

Valentine's Day!

So I did this for Christian...it was his card for Valentine's Day! He said he wanted a home-made card so this is what I came up with!
Well this Valentine's Day was so great! I got to hang out with Eden all day, making cupcakes, coloring a card for daddy! It was really fun! Then when christian got home form work, we headed up to Salt Lake for his surprise gift for me! On our way up there we dropped Eden off at Pops and Gramsy's house. She loves going over there! We're so lucky they live so close and love to watch her!


So once we dropped Eden off, we headed to the surprise date!! I had NO clue what Christian had planned. We drove past Capitol Theatre and I knew what he was up to! Ballet West was there with their production of Cinderella!!

I was so surprised! The Ballet...for any of you that know Christian, this was a VERY selfless gift! He knows I love dancing and girly stuff like that, so he did good! It was so beautiful! The music was amazing and the dancing...wow! It was so nice! The costumes were so incredible! It made me wish I was a Ballerina!




After the ballet we headed back to American Fork to pick up Eden and what did my sweet husband have waiting for me there...Beautiful Roses! They were So beautiful! Good job christian! It was a great Valentine's Day!

New kit by Brittney!!! And a freebie!

So my very talented sister Brittney, has created a masterpiece!!! I think this might be her best one! It's so awesome. I did 2 layouts. One with the "Dreams Do Come True" kit which is available at scrapmatters.com and scraphead.com, and the other with her "Happiest Kit on Earth" add on kit that is FREE!!!!! The first page was our first day at disneyland with The Elder's! It was Jake and Daxton's very first time at the happiest place on earth! The second page was from the same trip. We rode finding Nemo and Eden was seriously in Heaven! She LOVED looking out the hole at the bubbles and all the fun fish! It was so so cute! She wouldn't take her eyes off it! It was a magical moment! I re-colored the pink in the kit to make it red for this LO! I love Brittney's new kit. It is perfect for capturing those magical moments, and many others! Great Grandpa Rodee

This is Eden's Great Grandpa Rodee! He is so sweet with Eden. He always wants to hold her and talk to her. It's so fun! I'm so glad that Eden gets to know all of her Great grandparents!

Wow 2 LO's in one day!

Wow I can't believe I had time to do 2 Lo's today! Well actually I can, Eden took a 3 HOUR NAP this afternoon! Crazy! So I've been wanting to do a really cute page from Halloween! What do you think of my pretty pretty princess?? Isn't she cute! Can you believe they make costumes like that for babies! I died when I found it!

Rub-a-dub-dub!!!

So I think bath pictures are just the cutest! Eden and her friend Daxton Elder got to take a bath together back in December. Both me and Victoria, Daxton's mom, scrapbook so we HAD to take pictures! It was the cutest thing! They're going to be great bribe pictures for when they're older! HAHA!!

2 Months

Ok I'm on my second page of her monthly pictures! Wow I'm doing good. Usually when I start a little project like this I don't finish it. Like Christian's missionary book, christmas pictures, I haven't even started scrapping any disneyland pictures or thanksgiving...wow. I'm like you Britt, I never get to the big things! Why is that? I think you're right, that there are just too many pictures! Anyways, here's my little princess at 2 months old. She's wearing the cutest little carebears outfit, that we picked out special for her uncle Josh! I was SO sad when she grew out of this outfit! I loved it so much!

Lots of time to Scrap!

So Christian is out of town this weekend, so I've been able to spend some time really scrapping! Well isn't Eden so cute here! This is her at 1 month old. I decided I'm going to go through and scrap a couple of pictures from when she was 1 month, 2 months, etc. I saw this LO that had a year of special things all in one LO and i tried to do that , but I just could not narrow it down. So i came up with an alternative! I already picked out the pictures! I'm really excited. Isn't she little? Looking at old pictures makes me what to have another baby!! Crazy huh, maybe I should stop looking at old pictures!!

So I can FINALLY put Eden's hair in a little ponytail on top! WOW! I've waited 9 months to do this! Isn't she so cute. I can't wait till I can start doing her hair! I love her so much!!
